THE DUNES
The Dunes is a North African Fusion groove band. That is to say, it's a pop-rai-rock-chaabi-funk-berber-metal-gnawa thing. I play bass, guinbri, percussion, and clarinet. I have recently taken a more prominent role by singing lead on several songs, including a number of songs I wrote in Arabic for the band.
GNAWATRONIC
Gnawatronic is a techno-Gnawa-trance-beat thing featuring myself (guinbri) and Anis Sehiri (beats & other sounds). Club-ready for your quasi-ritual pleasure.

SENDEBAR
A multi-continental ensemble (with members from the US, Brazil, and Spain), specializing in medieval music of the Iberian peninsula. Led by scholar and performer Mauricio Molina, the group animates the performance of early music performance with the raucous rhythms and heterogeneous timbres of Catalan and Moroccan folk music.
